About 6 weeks ago (27th September 2001 to be exact) 'er indoors and two of her mad friends decided to take me and two other dogs to something called agility. We arrived at this place like a large barn and went inside. There were other dogs there as well. Some people were putting things together poles and such like. There was this big thing, a bit like a letter A. We had to run up this and over the top and down the other side. I fell off. Then there was a large plank, which tipped over in the middle. I fell off again. Next was something called a dog walk. It was three planks, 1 up, 1 across and 1 down funny sort of dog walk, nothing like the park. I fell off. We also did some jumps. Then it was time to go home.
We all went out training in the park at the weekend. Mum fell over. Well, it was her birthday and she had been at the brandy bottle.
The second week was a bit of a disaster. I wanted to do everything at once but they wouldn't let me. I fell off everything again. Mum got cross.
The third and fourth weeks were OK. We're now doing a long jump which is exciting and a weave. I'm not good at that yet though.
The fifth week was a disaster and Mum got very cross with me. Must try harder next week.
29th November 2001.
Mum has developed my photos and put them in a gallery thingy on the web site! Check them out. There's some pictures of Mum too - I had to put my paw over my mouth and try not to laugh.
2nd December 2001.
Mum has given me an email addy so people can send stuff to me over the spider web - send me something please!
3rd December 2001.
Sorry I havent been around for a few days. When I went to agility the other week, I was not very well. In fact Mum was worried about me. For the first half, I was very depressed. I cheered up in the second half though and Mum threatened to take my batteries away. I didn't do too badly and Mum wasn't cross with me. On the Friday and the Saturday, I was really poorly, but I was better on Sunday.
We were moved around last week when we went to agility and I am now with my friends Cleo and Flicker again. We have a new trainer. I was much better at the jumps and things, especially the A frame, but I do get very excited. This week when I went through the collapsible tunnel I rolled all over the place in it (3 times!!!), it was great and everybody laughed.
I've noticed that someone has been writing in my Journal I dont think its Mum, she hasn't got time. I notice that some things have been added to the site, such as tweaks and subtle things (don't know what this means, but its something to do with the mouse running over the graffix and banners. I'll leave you to figure that out). D'ya know, my Mum thinks tweaks are choccie biccies? Shes gone all over the site looking for some. The only thing she's managed to find is a spider (I think it's really the Webmaster). She is so silly. Must be her age. I know what tweaks are. It's when Mum catches hold of my hair and pulls it. Thats a tweak.
6th December
Agility was fun again this week, but there were not many there. It must be the cold or everyone was doing their Christmas shopping. Mum says that this will be my last journal entry before Christmas as I am going on my holidays and she says nobody will want to read my journal anyway because its Christmas. What she really means is that she is taking my pen away for a while. She has agreed to me writing a Christmas Message, after some begging from me, so look out for that. D'ya know what she has bought now? A pair of reindeer antlers, a santa hat and a scarf. She says she is going to take a piccy of me wearing them. No chance!!!

I know Mum said I wasn't to do another Journal entry, but it was so funny at agility tonight that I just have to. I have been so good, I really enjoyed myself. There was just one thing. We were going over a series of jumps and through the tunnel. I had gone over the first jump, through the tunnel and came to the second jump; I did that and went for the next jump. Mum turned left, I turned right, we collided, I fell, Mum fell over me and landed on top of me in a heap and I squealed. Well, she hurt me; she is very, very heavy. Of course, Mum happened to be wearing a new fleece, which is now filthy dirty. Apart from that small mishap, everything went well and I really think Mum is very proud of me tonight.

My Christmas List:
Dear Scenta,
Jules Jenwisp here. Mum says I can write a letter to you to ask for my Chrissie pressies, so here goes.
May I please have 1 lb of butter, some cream cakes, some Lemon and Polenta cake, to replace the ones I stole, and a pack of 100 crunchy chewy sticks - also to replace the ones I stole, cos she says she's not buying any more.
I will leave you a mince pie and a glass of whisky (I don't like whisky - at least I don't think I do) on Christmas Eve, near to where I hang up my stocking.
I'm going now cos Mum is hovering (again). She is threatening to take my pen away (again). See ya, Luv Jules.
22nd December 2001
Went to agility training on Thursday. It was the last night before Christmas. Mike (our first trainer) was wearing a Santa hat which flashed, Amanda (our present trainer - Stella was still away looking after her Mum) was also wearing a Santa hat but it did not flash. I had a great time. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had Amanda down twice. The first time she was holding my collar when I twisted round and she fell over. The next time I had just jumped off the A frame on the way down (from half way up) and she decided I must do it again properly. She went to the bottom of the A frame and waited for me to come over. I launched myself at her and she fell over again. I ended up with my bum in the air and everybody laughing. She said I was dangerous. Me? Dangerous? Never.
I just enjoy myself. Mum and Helen were laughing so hard they nearly fell over too. When we got home we discovered someone had broken into our home and Mum's purse had been stolen with her credit and debit cards and cashpoint card inside as well as £100 cash. Mum is very distressed about this mainly because a stranger has been into our home. The Police came but we are not hopeful. Mum rang the banks and put a stop on the cards. Hope it was in time. She is still very distressed. Hope she cheers up for Christmas.
