      Jules's Journal

In memory of a very special little boy Jules' Journal is the story of a dog who lived life as it was meant to be.

Sadly, he did not live to finish it. Jules tragically drowned when he fell into the frozen canal in Hanley Park on Thursday 3rd January 2002. We could not break the ice and all I could do was stand and watch my wonderful boy die.

He was not destined for the show ring but had found his niche in agility and was coming on very well. He enjoyed every minute of his training, including downing me three times and Amanda, his trainer, twice.

His Journal will be kept open as a tribute to his life and for all who follow to read.

There is a new star shining in the sky.

Farewell my lovable clown, till we meet again. I will never forget you.

Dedication

Although you cannot see me
I'm not far away
I'm in your mind and memories
Today and Every Day
So dry your eyes and weep no more
Treasure what we had before
Smile when you remember the jokes we had
Try not feel so lonely or sad.
Life will go on without me
That's how it's mean't to be
So make the most of it
For life is short you see.
Let my love be your strength and anchor
Each and every day
To help you through this journey
That you take come what may.
Be glad for the time spent together
The love that we shared through the years
Be happy now
And wipe away those tears.

What's this?. Lying in wait. Learning how to stand. Babe in arms. Over the jump. The weave - wish she'd let me have that titbit!. Through the tunnel.
